As we near the epicenter of the Atlantic, Eastern and Central Pacific Hurricane seasons, this is your friendly reminder to go buy a weather radio. Every home needs a weather radio. It's old school, but it's good school. What a weather radio will do is that it will sound off for any warnings that the National Weather Service issues. It's especially necessary when there are tornado, severe thunderstorm and flood warnings of any kind during the nighttime hours as it will wake you up so you can get you and your household to a place of safety.
